Chips and Salsa Teacher Gift

There's a month left of school (then I'll be in High School) !!! Summer is getting so close, and teacher appreciation gifts are popping up everywhere. Me and my mom decided to do a chips and salsa gift this year for the teachers.  I also made tags for the baskets, they say "Thanks for adding a little 'spice' to my school year". Get it "spice" like spicy salsa? Yah, I was pretty proud of my self for coming up with it.

We purchased cute little wire baskets from $tree (love that place) put in some yellow tissue paper,  a can of my moms yummy homemade salsa and a bag of chips, and tied the little tag on.

This is a super easy gift to put together, you just need to download the tag here. Just print them out and then assemble everything, that's all there is to it.

"I'm Glad We Swim in the Same School" Valentines

Here's some more fun valentines.

Here's the story:
I made these for my little sister. I had a WHOLE board on Pinterest of super cute things I could make for her, but when she saw the swedish fish Valentines it was love at first sight.

I wasn't super excited to make these for her, but I actually really like how they turned out.

I even made tags you can download.

I wanted to dress the bags up a little, so I added a twisted pipe cleaner, twine,  and some ribbon.

Materials:

  • clear cellophane bag
  • pipe cleaner
  • gift ribbon
  • bakers twine
  • stapler
  • swedish fish
  • stapler
  • glue dots
  • these tags
Steps:

  1. Place around ten swedish fish in the bottom of your bag
  2. fold the top of the bag over and staple it closed with the tag on top
  3. wrap your pipe cleaner around a pencil and staple it onto the bag along with a piece of curled ribbon
  4. tie a bow out of bakers twine and put it on the ribbon with a glue dot.

Free Printable Quote

I love quotes, especially when it comes in a 4x6" handout. It makes it easy to bring those thoughts wherever you go. I had an idea for my locker (at school) to buy two mini clipboards, cover them with washi tape, and add magnet strips to the back. That way I can easily attach little 4x6 cards to them, perfect for when your having a bad day and need something to uplift you. I plan on changing them every so often, so this is the first of the many quotes to come.

A "Berry" cute idea

For our school, this is the last week until summer. And of course, who doesn't want to appreciate there teachers, right. I came across an awesome printable. You make chocolate dipped strawberry's and then make them festive by adding sprinkles, nuts, drizzled chocolate, ect. Then you add this cute printable.
