Paint Swatch Banners

As I mentioned (in the last post),
I'm doing a craft camp for girls ages 7-12.
One of the crafts we did today was a paint swatch banner.

I have 2 different ones to share (both cute):
-a summer one
-a forth of july one

Along with the tutorial on how to make your own banner I'm also including a freebie.
It's the letters for the banner (I'm so nice)!
you can get the freedom one here and the
summer one here

WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN?

GET:
-paint swatches (6 or 7)
-bakers twine/ any kind of string
-packing tape
-foam adhesives
-banner letters

DO:
-cut all your paint swatches into triangles (if your doing the freedom banner you also need small triagles of one color)
-THIS STEP IS ONLY FOR THE FREEDOM BANNER:
put a foam adhesive on the small triangle
put the small triangle on the big one
-cut out the letters with a 21/2" punch
-put a foam adhesive on the back of the letters
-put the letter on the triangle
-punch a two small holes in the top of all the triangles
-put string through the holes and tape it in place
