Flip Flop Fun

Summer is just around the corner. Well, kind of. But it feels like it in Tucson. In honor of the warm weather I decided to make a pair of cute flips flops.

Here they are:

Arn't they cute.

GET:
-flip flops (I got mine from Walmart)
-jersey material or shirt
-tulle 
-satin
-hot glue
-needle +thread 
-felt
-button 

DO:
-follow the instructions from here (do everything except the flowers on top)
-make satin flowers (tutorial below)
-Enjoy!!!!

Satin Flowers:

-cut out 3 circles of satin/tulle (my largest was 2")

-make sure each circle gets gradually smaller

-melt the edges of the circles with a candle 

-stich circle together

-hot glue button on top
